Since exiting my agency in 2024, which I grew to $2 MM annual net profit, I've been an agency advisor and investor.
In almost every encounter I see the same five gaps in founder expertise and intentionality:

2/ Fiscal literacy and command are weak.
3/ The agency is critically dependent on the founder.
4/ There is no exit-readiness plan.

Critically, it means the owner has no optionality.
